Almost as long as I've been illustrating & designing, I've also worked as a colorist on a variety of projects, from books, to web graphics, to album art.
One of the greatest creators I've collaborated with, Jim Mahfood, drew the cover illustration for Earthworms' 2nd album, "Bottle Full of Bourbon", I picked it apart and added color, hand painted textures, and effects. This is a pretty old piece, 2007, but it's still a favorite and I think it still represents what I do today. That's why it's in my portfolio!😉
Jim and I have worked on a quite a few pieces as illustrator and colorist, including one previous Earthworms album and two follow ups. I'll post those soon, along with more examples of color work with other collaborators. (psst! you could see some of those examples NOW if you click on the link!)
